Santii are vocalist Michele, techn and synth Alessandro, supported by the drummer Marco. The band is originally from Italy but currently based among London (UK), Bologna (Italy) and Bergen (Norway).
In 2 years Santii have been critically acclaimed by releasing recordsand touring extensively all around Europe.The first record ‘Things.Yes’ (2011) was highly praised by tastemakers like DJ Magazine, FACT and RCRDLBL as a refreshing approach to electronic pop.
With ‘These Days’, released in Europe and Japan, Santii have shifted up a gear in the pop/dance stakes and created an infectious, summery album of danceable pop music to rival the likes of Phoenix and Daft Punk.The first single ‘When’ has been premiered in the UK on Clash Music. The second single, ‘Down the West Side’, has been featured as a worldwide exclusive premiere on VEVO The Line of Best Fit describes ‘These Days’ as “one of the smartest and smoothest pop records of 2013”

During the last year, Santii have played international festivals such as Eurosonic 2014 (Netherlands), Simple Things Bristol 2013 (UK), Norwich Sound and Vision 2013 (UK), Glimps 2013 (Belgium); have been main support to acts like Mount Kimbie and Is Tropical; and have performed alongside artists such as Darkside / Nicolas Jaar, Jon Hopkins, Pantha Du Prince, The Field, Civil Civic, Pins, and many others.
Recently winner of the ETC Glastonbury, the band will play at Glastonbury Festival 2014 (on the West Holsts Stage), opening worldwide acts like Kasabian, The Black Keys etc.
The gig will be followed by other key stages in two UK festivals: YNot Festival and Brownstock Festival and after the summer, the band will play in other 3 most relevant festivals in Italy: Unaltro Festival (w/ MGMT), Radar Festival (Slowdive, Mount Kimbie), and Ypsigrock (Moderat.)
