Alessandra Flora, from granny’s piano to Sanremo Festival

From the melody lessons on her grandmother’s notebook to the stage of Sanremo Festival with Malika Ayane, the career of our artist Alessandra Flora is the perfect synthesis between the poles of methodical dedication and impulsiveness.

In this interview she tells us her whole story, from her first steps into the music world, when she was almost magically enchanted by her grandmother’s piano, to the numerous meetings that marked her career – the aforementioned Malika Ayane, and then Gianni Morandi, Nina Zilli, Noemi, Emma Marrone, Giovanni Caccamo just to name a few – until the decisive one, ratified by an exclusive contract, with our label.

For Alessandra music is a matter of instinct and passion. The exact proportions are: 80% instinct, 10% urgency, 10% technique. Writing a song is the way to express her emotional urgency, to shape what she is experiencing. And if music is her therapy, piano – strictly upright – is her analyst.
